Summer Application Institute & Mentoring Program
The Summer Application Institute (SAI) is a week long dormitory
experience and year long mentoring program that helps prepare aspiring
students for college. SAI targets students from low-income families
whose parents did not have the opportunity to graduate college
themselves. To date, 98% of SAI participants have either graduated
from college, are enrolled in college or plan to enroll next fall. Learn

CollegeDayTours
CollegeDayTours
are daylong explorations of Bay Area colleges and universities
for Marin high school students. Through campus tours students:
- Meet current college
students
- Talk to admissions and financial aid staff
- Learn about degree offerings
- Experience different campuses including Dominican University,
UC Davis, Sacramento State University, Sonoma State University,
Santa Rosa Junior College, San Jose State University, Santa Clara
University, Chico State University, St. Mary's College and UC
Berkeley.
College for Kids!
Serving students in elementary
and middle school, College for Kids! provides
access to local college campuses. In partnership with Dominican
University of California, College of Marin and local school districts
this program provides young people an early introduction to
the idea of college. Additionally, the program provides families
and educators with the resources they need to nurture the aspirations
of young students as they move along the education pipeline.
Student Workshops
Marin Education Fund staff provides College
and Financial Aid Workshops throughout the year for
parents, students entering college (including transfer and re-entry
students), and high school students. Free of charge, these workshops
take place throughout the community. See

Marin Education Fund's Resource
Center
offers a wealth of school and college catalogs and information
on local and national scholarships and financial aid resources.
For those interested in professional and technical training programs,
the Center has one of the most detailed and current file systems
in Marin. The Resource Center is open to the general public at
