The Laurel Scholarship Society
Donors to The Laurel Scholarship Society of Marin Education Fund pledge a minimum of $5,000 per year for four years (the normative time to a four-year degree). Laurel scholarships are typically awarded to the same student or students over the course of Laurel Society membership, and donors are notified of students’ progress through letters from students, reports from 10,000 Degrees, or both.
Through your generous support as a member of The Laurel Scholarship Society, you can change the lives of not only students but entire families. Many students are the first in their families to attend college, and their success creates a model for siblings, the community, and future generations.
There are more than 1,900 students in our community who need your help to get to college. You can help one person right now. For more information on joining The Laurel Scholarship Society, please call Susan Mitchell, Development Director, at 415-451-4010.
